Our story starts back in 2015 on vacation in Vermont. A day where plans were dashed had us all left with nothing to do. Having no idea what disc golf was we stumbled upon it at our resort. Little did we know we were playing at one of the top rated courses in the world, Brewster Ridge Disc golf course.

Our story starts back in 2015 on vacation in Vermont. A day where plans were dashed had us all left with nothing to do. Having no idea what disc golf was we stumbled upon it at our resort. Little did we know we were playing at one of the top rated courses in the world, Brewster Ridge Disc golf course.
While we didn’t appreciate how lucky we were to play the course it sowed the seed of what grew into Smoking Chains today. We brought the sport back to our friends in Florida and together we all found a pure kind of joy in the sport and all became enveloped by the game of disc golf. We enjoy bringing the sport to new people and starting Smoking Chains was the next step to growing the sport in our area!
